Swiss chocolatier Läderach has introduced its latest product, Dubai Pralines, deepening its engagement with the fast-growing pistachio trend. The pralines combine pistachio and kataifi—the core elements popularized by the viral “Dubai chocolate” format, reinterpreted in a refined, bite-sized form.
This launch follows the brand’s FrischSchoggi Dubai Dark from June, which layered dark chocolate with creamy pistachio, almond gianduja, and kataifi. That product tapped directly into the flavor palette that has driven high consumer interest worldwide, and laid the groundwork for the pralines’ more structured, gift-oriented format.
The launch of Dubai Pralines signals a deliberate step in Läderach’s evolving international strategy, which in 2025 has has seen geographic expansion and curated product development.
In the first half of 2025, Läderach introduced at least 10 limited-edition FrischSchoggi variants across global markets, including Espresso Macchiato, Walnut Brownies, and Matcha Fusion among others. Pistachio-inspired launches include a pistachio gianduja FrischSchoggi, a FrischSchoggi with a pistachio-raspberry pairing, and the FrischSchoggi Dubai Dark, consolidating pistachio’s role as a strategic flavor vector.
Data from Linium Intelligence supports this direction. Pistachio was the second most popular flavor in chocolate product launches in H1 2025 worldwide, often used in combination with Middle Eastern ingredients such as kaitafi, as well as more contemporary pairings like matcha and ruby chocolate. Läderach’s integration of kataifi, matcha, and nougat across recent SKUs reflects a deliberate alignment with these flavor trends.
Meanwhile, the company, already a top DTC brand by share in Switzerland, continues to grow its international footprint. In 2025, Läderach confirmed its entry into Egypt, and Turkey, and a new store in Richmond, Canada, its first in Western Canada.
