Whitakers Chocolates has today launched its newest confectionery innovation: Milk Chocolate Brazil Nuts — whole, crunchy Brazil nuts double-enrobed in the brand’s signature smooth milk chocolate. Beautifully boxed and gift-ready, the release is being positioned as a festive indulgence.
This launch comes as the first commercial output from Whitakers’ newly expanded nut-processing line at its Snaygill facility in North Yorkshire. The factory expansion was part of a strategic investment by its parent company, Bramble Foods Group, following Whitakers’ acquisition earlier in 2025.
The new nut line is intended to give Whitakers greater control over production, reduce reliance on external nut-processing suppliers, and lay the groundwork for future innovations — including dark chocolate Brazils and additional nut-based confections. Whitakers also confirmed that the nut line upgrade was not solely an efficiency play but part of a broader plan to widen its product portfolio ahead of the Christmas trading period.
In parallel to the product launch, Whitakers announced that its Snaygill plant will now handle all in-house nut operations, reducing supply chain complexity and improving quality oversight. The brand also affirmed that further innovation—especially in dark chocolate nut confections—is under development for 2026.
