Mondelēz International has launched a new limited edition flavor under its flagship Oreo brand in several key Southeast Asian markets including Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, and Indonesia.
The new product features Oreo’s classic chocolate biscuit paired with a visually striking, space-inspired cream filling. The space blue-colored marshmallow cream includes popping candy and delivers a cooling sensation — elements crafted to deliver both a novel sensory experience and strong visual impact for social media engagement.
Each Spaceburst Cream cookie includes one of five galactic-themed embossments — Rocket, Helmet, Telescope, Star Gaze, and Shooting Star — the latter of which is a rare design intended to spark repeat purchases and sharing among consumers. This collectible component adds gamification to the product experience.
