Chocxo Expands Better-for-You Chocolate Line With New Coconut Caramel Cookie Cup
Better-for-you chocolate maker Chocxo is expanding its low-sugar, clean-label portfolio with the upcoming launch of its new Coconut Caramel Cookie Cup. The new product features a 58% cacao organic dark milk chocolate shell filled with coconut butter, toasted coconut flakes, white chocolate, and smoked sea salt, topped with graham cracker. Each cup contains just 5 grams of sugar, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to permissible indulgence without compromising on flavor or quality.
The product will be available at a range of Canadian retailers, including Loblaws, Sobeys, London Drugs, Whole Foods, Healthy Planet, Avril, and additional banners across both natural and conventional retail channels.
This marks one of several of Chocxo’s major innovations over the past year, following the rollout of Cookies & Cream Cups across Canada in July 2024, and the launch of a Passionfruit Chocolate Cup in February 2025. Both previous launches also contained 5g or less of sugar per cup, aligning with the brand’s positioning in the better-for-you confectionery segment.
The Coconut Caramel Cookie Cup also taps into two of the most relevant flavor profiles in the chocolate category today. According to 1H 2025 product launch data by Linium Intelligence, both coconut and caramel were among the top flavors featured in new confectionery introductions globally. This positions the product to meet evolving consumer expectations for both taste and health-conscious formulation.
Chocxo has maintained a consistent clean-label formulation philosophy, using USDA Organic Certified and Fair Trade Certified cacao, and avoiding artificial sweeteners, sugar alcohols, and unnecessary additives. As consumer demand for reduced sugar, organic, and functional chocolates continues to rise, Chocxo’s steady cadence of innovation highlights how brands are responding through flavor differentiation and formulation discipline.
